Is March already just around the corner? You certainly wouldn’t guess it from the mountains of snow. But that’s not stopping us from putting on the best possible Saturday tastings, week-in and week-out! Producer month is wrapping up and we’re doing it in the best way possible – by featuring three of our favorite wineries with proprietors in attendance – Lallier (Champagne), Max Ferd Richter (Mosel), and Seven Hills (Columbia Valley).
Lallier with PJ Peyrat, Export Director
What better way is there to start a grand tasting than with Champagne? Lallier is a favorite at Zachys thanks to its consistent quality and style – finesse, acidity, balance, and everything else you could possibly want in Champagne, and all at fantastic prices.
Richter with Constantin Richter, Proprietor/Winemaker
Quintessential Mosel in the best possible way. Richter is about Riesling done right – beautiful balance, refreshing acidity, and just the right amount of residual sugar. Just one sip of these wines will have you thinking of Spring!
Seven Hills with Casey McClellan, Proprietor/Winemaker
We’re unabashedly biased Seven Hills fans, and we’ve been in love with these wines for a long time now. Casey McClellan is one of the most influential figures in Washington State winemaking, and his Bordeaux-varietal wines can’t be missed!
