Just Added: The Top Wines of 2016 by Wine Enthusiast! 2013 Leoville Las Cases (95WE) and 2008 Taittinger Brut Millesime Take on 2012 Shafer One Point Five (95WE), 2010 Biondi Santi Riserva (100WE), and The #1 Wine Of the Year – La Rioja Alta (96WE) and More...!
It’s that time of year where there is a barrage of Top 100 Lists. James Suckling and Wine Spectator are not alone in posting their top picks of the year; Wine Enthusiast just came out with their list. What we appreciate here is that it includes not only the #1 Wine Of The Year with La Rioja Alta 2005 Rioja Gran Reserva 125th Anniversary (96WE/96WA), but also their Top 100 Cellar Selections of collectibles and age-worthy wines for any enthusiast’s cellar. We are pleased to present the Wine Enthusiast’s Top 100 Wines of The Year From Editor’s Choice to the Top Cellar Selections of 2016!
Zachys has many of these top selections and we are presenting them with up to 37% in savings. My truffle hunting wine acquisition team is out there trying to lock down new wines from this TOP 100 LIST daily. My advice is always the same every year when these lists come out... ACT QUICKLY WHEN YOU SEE SOMETHING YOU LIKE! Many of these gems will sell out!
Please note that the 2005 La Rioja Alta Gran Reserva ‘904” sold out within hours after being named the Wine of the Year at the Bodega and at Zachys. We are now able to offer a final allocation; we do expect this favorite cellar staple to sell out once again.
Be sure to check back for the release of Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines on Monday December 5th! Special pricing is valid through December 10th or while supplies last.
Let the fun begin!!
All my best,
